After seeing the menu and wanting to go local we looked forward to parrot on oak. We waited 15 mins for our booked table to be ready, that’s ok we are on holidays. We then perused the menu that was on the front door to kill the time. It was different to the website.. That’s ok I chose another meal that sounded great. Except that once we were sat down we were faced with yet a 3rd menu different again and an added list of what is not available. The wine list doesn’t exist.. They just present you with all the bottles.. Weird. Finally took our order half an hr later, entree was good. Main took 1hr and 50mins to show up and was while not terrible, it was very basic. Our wine was never topped up and I died of thirst waiting for water. Unfortunately no communication regarding our meals or care factor that we may have been a bit over it. It appears if your not a local known to the staff then your quite simply an inconvenience. Bit disappointed in this one, it has so much potential but misses the mark by quite a bit.

The food was great however the ambiance of the restaurant is ruined because it is loud and noisy, too many tables crammed into such a small place.I would go back for lunch but it’s not my style for a nice dinner out with my husband or a group of friends.The staff were very friendly but service a little slow.
