Follow my insta @burgersnbikinis I have walked past Zinc so many times and always thought that looks like a place with a cool vibe. So I was stoked that once I finally decided to try it out that the vibe was indeed cool, and the food was insanely delicious. If you get a spot outside on the balcony then you are treated to your meal with views looking over the corso and beach – perfect for a nice summers lunch when I went with my friends. Here’s what we ordered:Mezze platter – ermargeeeeerd sah good. Cue haloumi, stuffed vine leaves, pita, dips (tzatziki, beetroot and pumpkin), olives, lamb kofta and marinated vegetables. What a feast!Arancini – OMFG GET THESE. I’m obsessed with arancini and no lie these are some of the best I’ve had in Sydney. So crispy yet soft on the inside, and so much sauce which was perfect! These were a meal in themselves, I’m still dreaming about them. Calamari salad – fk yes so on point. Crispy curls of calamari on a fresh salad with more sauce. Yasssss. Lamb burger – I usually steer clear of lamb burgers in fear they will be dry, but again Zinc nailed this one! Juicy lamb, saucy goodness and a damn decent burg. Can’t wait to come back for my next visit to Cronullafornia. Saz – burgersnbikinis xx

Where to start about zink? Well we arrived to all the doors open in the place which would have been ok if it was a balmy summers night but it was the coldest July night in 14years. Then came the food, I ordered the barramundi thinking it would be a good choice being on the beach and all, how wrong I was. The fish was dry and hard with no taste, I’ve had better Birdseye fish fingers. Stay well away!!!
