A lovely, friendly cafe that deserves a second visit purely based on service alone! And also I had a sip of the coffee and it was beautiful!!We ordered the vegan stack and acai bowl both of which came out looking like artwork! They were both almost $20 though so a little steep considering the portions aren’t that big. But they are really pretty! hahaThe vegan stack was so delicious! The sweet potato cigar with cashew cheese was delightful but I was just a tad disappointed it was only one small roll and a salad.Acai bowl was also gorgeous and pretty healthy with lots of fruit and flowers scattered around.Wouldn’t get the kale detox smoothie again though, it was more of a juice than a smoothie so felt very watered down.
The food from Caffe Nostra is so vibrant, healthy and very pretty. They have their food presentation spot on! One thing disappointing about this cafe is the food takes ages to come out, we waited almost 45 minutes to 1 hour for the food which I think is slightly ridiculous. Great tasting food but takes forever to come out!I think their menu is constantly changing but I ordered a salmon platter that came with grilled salmon, bread, salad, egg and labneh. This tasted amazing! The grilled salmon was cooked spot on without being dry, the eggs were very flavoursome and perfect on the sourdough bread and the salad was refreshing.They are very generous with their proportions and this hearty breakfast was completely satisfying. My friend ordered the smashed avocado board which also had very generous proportions and she said it tasted amazing as well.
I’ve been walking past this cafe for the past few years but didn’t have a change to visit until recently. I tried their protein lunch box with chicken for a late lunch. The salad was super healthy and fresh – composed of walnuts, red & green shredded cabbage, carrot, smashed peas, edamame, avocado, radish, beet leaves, quinoa, etc. The egg was poached perfectly, and the chicken was soft and moist. Overall, one happy customer.
Great breakfast….with lots to choose from…service very friendly…and fast even on a busy Saturday…..Coffee was exceptional.Unassuming corner cafe that is becoming very popular!Definitely put it on your list!
