Oh man… so average that we were disappointed. Work nearby and wanted a change from the food courts and typical take out so we went for a walk along West Street and stopped by this cafe. There’s lots of seating in and out… chose a table outside. Had to wave down a waitress to bring us menus and take our order.Food is very average. I tried the cheeseburger with fries and my friend had the souvlaki. Both were very mediocre. My chips were cold and soggy. My burger patty was dry and just meuh… ok but nothing amazing. You kind of expect more from cafes in Sydney these days with all the competition and due to the price, we were really disappointed. The chicken souvlaki was just loads of cucumber, tomato, olive and feta with two not heavily marinated sticks of chicken. Coffee is on the sour side (in relation to the beans). Paid around $30 pp for lunch, probably won’t come back as there are other options around.
I went to school up the road for six years and made it a habit to check if the coffee had improved once every year. Even with the student discount, not worth it. Its always watery, tastes sour and awful, and I’d rather pay the couple more dollars for a decent coffee. For all the six years it was consistently terrible. As for the food, its average, but overpriced and the staff often forget orders. With the new renovations hopefully they’ve changed hands and upped their game
