This is an ok sushi train. They have some unique sushi specials such as King Mushroom nigiri and Snapper nigiri. More selection would be nice. Lot of sushi types that were on the menu were not on the train. Highlight was definitely the King Mushroom and I wished they had made more of them. Its a different sushi train because you dont get to see the chefs making the sushi so you miss out on that bit of theatre. Customer service could have been more attentive. As a solo diner at times I felt ignored and took a while for them to bring a glass of water. Would have been nice if they had asked me if I wanted to order something on their menu or want to order a drink. Because of this experience I didnt feel like ordering much food or staying there very long.
Happened to pop in, because we needed lunch in the area, and wow! Wonderful variety of quality fish nigiri, warm, freshly made rice, lovey seared, sauced nigiri, excellent unagi, ikura and most importantly of all… uni!Casual Chinese staff, but very engaged Japanese chef. Simple but excellent food!
Quite surprised to see all Chinese staff running a sushi train! Most of the options on the train were the usuals, but good to see they were not tiny servings. Wouldn’t recommend the gyoza, was pretty average and oily. The kimchi seafood soup was good and came in quite a big pot. Some vegan options with the veg roll and gyoza, along with the standard seaweed and avocado options.
Great professional restaurant consistently good service. I have eaten there a few times and the quality of there sashimi was thick and top quality, other foods were also well prepared they have top chefs with experience in the good old sashimi industrie , only downside is that for some it might be bit pricey but if you down to spend your frown will end, all in all 15.9/17 on my scale , also sushi 100 pretty boring name lets face it i suggest the powerfull bonsai
