The stroke of genius is the mayonnaise, that really takes this dish somewhere I havent been before.Friendly staff and super quick service.Plus.. feedback slips on the table, so clearly this place gives a hoot and wants to continually improve. Ill be back.
Was in Crows Nest about a month ago and came in with some friends. Tables were not wiped down. We had all sat down for about ten minutes before we realised that we were meant to go to the counter to order our meals. Food came out pretty quickly, despite lunch rush hour. I had the teriyaki chicken rice and miso soup combo. The proportion of rice was very generous. The meat and vegetables were also plentiful, although the proportion of these toppings to rice was a bit off, as I had heaps of rice left over towards the bottom and ran out of toppings. However, because of the big size of the bowl, I was unable to finish the rice anyway. Some of the guys who had other dishes were also unable to finish their meals, that is how generous the portions were. The toppings were flavourful and worked well together. Price was extremely reasonable.

Whenever I eat here I end up not finishing my bowl, that saying how generous their servings are. Been here quite a few times and my last visit was not more than a few months ago. And Id just like to mention that the portion of the meat (in comparison from the rest) has gotten lesser I should say.. Ive been craving for more pieces of meat/tofu towards my last bites.. Other than that, I think the food is flavourful. Im loving the Japanese mayo on the side. Visited on a late afternoon and its not too busy, the food came out really quick. Good value for money.
