Easy takeout on the main street of Croydon. A popular spot for local tradies. The food is greasy as you would expect from a takeaway store but sometimes that’s what you want too 🙂 my go-to is the schnitzel roll. Roast chickens available, Portuguese style.
Very rude staff since new management took over. . Doesnt get the order right and makes u feel stupid. Portions are so small which is another big disappointment. Never ever going back.
Had takeaway and had the strand burger which is pretty basic and sloppy to eat. The half chicken was a decent size but where’s the garlic dip? They didn’t give it to me and there was no stuffing in my chicken either. The chicken itself was nothing special that you can get anywhere. Prices are decent,some seating indoors but in this hot weather it’s really hot inside. Doubt I will be back
Very small portions. While I am impressed they make genuine charcoal chickens, I thought the food was bland and left me hungry. I wouldn’t recommend.
Simple place for a simple dinner when I was rush home after a long day at work.The service was very friendly. The chicken was very nice. The best is the home made garlic source. Should never miss it if you like garlic.It’s a very nice place for take away.
I’m sure it’s my karma that the wicked chicken and chips dinner I bought, despite watching my weight, has dried out inedible chicken and chips with SUGAR on them 🙁 I’m disappointed and unfortunately I won’t be back.
Great Place. Great food (especially chickens) which is paired with even better customer service! The staff are always ready for a friendly talk and a few jokes.
