Ordered penne pesto and penne boscaiola. Service was nice and friendly BUT there was too much cream in the sauces to my liking. Beginning it was fine. After a while the cream became more suffocating.
Overall a very nice cafe in the middle of croydon. New service staff are much better than previous – polite and attentive. Food is great value.
You’ll find better made coffee in nearby cafes but they’re also busier and crowded. In that regard, Kafe Kaltura is a better choice if you’re after a quiet cafe to read the paper (novel, I know – they supply newspapers) or catch up on social media. Service is polite and attentive.
