Went here for a dinner yesterday and I love the burger here. I ordered the bare grill. The burger was juicy the chips were on point. The seasoning of the chips just awesome. The beef was cook very well. But, for me the main hero was the caramelized onion. It was simply a game changer. And the cheddar also lovely. I will come back here for sure when i hit Sydney next time
Located in Surry Hills, Bare Grill on Bourke is the spin-off burger joint from the original in La Perouse. We made our way after a Whiskey Tasting (Stay tuned for the full experience coming soon!) and came to a really packed Bare Grill on a Friday night. Thankfully, the staff was oh-so-friendly and we were pretty okay to sit outside even though it was freezing cold.
Bare Grill is a cafe situated in Surry with great ambience and friendly staff. Whether youre looking for a place to have a snack or a feast, this is the place to be. I enjoyed everything but my absolute favourite were the ribs! They also make mean coffee, shake or cocktail, whichever is your preference.
We heard rave reviews of this place so decided to give it a try. The burgers we ate were son of a cockfighter and the Aussie outback. I loved the outback-perfect balance of meat, egg and cheese. We also had jalapeo poppers which was a good appetiser. Pricewise, everything was reasonable. The only let down was that the ambience is not the best and the drinks we ordered came after the food.PS: we noticed a lot of tables ordering an extra of raclette cheese on their burgers. Looked super yummy, but make sure you visit on an empty stomach.
Great place, lovely customer service, they made my little girl feel great. As a suggestion ask for the burger with not to much on it and add the extra 7 dollars Raclette cheese on top. Is worth it. Is what it made this place extra special is that touch. Chips ok, milkshake average, other stuff didnt tried so I dont know but the burger was good. Recommend for the experience.
Super awesome place to go to if youre after some affordable not so overpriced raclette! Service was a inefficient though…the drinks came out wayyy later than the food even thought we ordered then all at the same time
This is THE place for burgers in Sydney; the portions are ridiculously generous and they remind me of the USA; we had an incredible chocolate milkshake, a watermelon lamb salad, macaroni rissole things (sorry, I’m so bad with dish names), roast vegetables with raclette cheese, a pulled pork dish for my dining companion and, of course, a burger. Absolutely divine.
