Monday night dinner, ordered vegetable kyoja, calamari tempura, karage chicken, dynamite rolls and large sashimi set. Upon arriving we realized we ordered too many fried dishes.. it was mistake on our part – we got pretty over fried food by the time we received calamari tempura. However I can say their fried food is pretty good, well seasoned and not too oily. Dynamite roll was nice, crunch texture went well with soft fillings with just right amount of sauces. Sashimi set was mainly salmon pieces and only three pieces of tuna and king fish however love the fact that salmon slices were very thin and fresh. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
Had a lovely mid week meal at this place. The service is fast and friendly and the food is great. The sashimi was fresh, and the pork was full of taste. Would come back!
Love this little Japanese place. The staff are wonderful and the food is great! The agedashi tofu was the highlight – full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The sashimi was fresh and delicious and the gyoza was different to any other I have tasted. The service is fast and it’s the perfect place for a mid-week dinner.
Harumi moved to near street-304 victoria street.. So nice food and kind service.I strongly recommend this reastaurant.
Pretty ordinary. Ok for a quick lunch but not if you’re after a nice dinner.
My favorite Japanese. Live locally and eat here twice a week. They are moving soon to another location one street over for more space and keeping the existing shop as a noodle bar. Can’t recommend the noodle bar but after three years I’ve never had a bad dish there. (I usually order regular dishes) Agedashi Tofu, Boiled Gyoza, Chicken Yakitori Sticks, Dynamite Roll, Sushimi platter (tuna & salmon). This place is a great BYO option if you love Japanese. I have never heard any friends say anything bad other than a couple of folks who said they left hungry but these friends are the type to go next door and have a large meat lovers pizza at Dominos AFTER their meal. I always leave full with just enough room for a bit of chocolate when I get home.
Lovely local BYO Japanese. The sashimi and sushi rolls (Cali & salmon avo) are massive. Gyozas were tasty and the tasty beef don came with brown rice. Great service. The two little complimentary springs rolls to start were a nice touch -makes that first sip of white wine much nicer! We went after 8pm and there were still diner coming in. Will order the special rolls and bento boxes next time. foodlee.ca
