I recently had my 30th birthday party at the Beauchamp Hotel. The staff were friendly and prompt and the food was delicious. We started the function at the upstairs/terrace part and later moved down to The Velvet Room. We were able to supply our own music and decorations. Everything ran smoothly and the venue was the perfect choice to host my party- it was suitable for my friends and family of all ages. A big thank you to Claude (our function organizer) and all staff who assisted on the night 🙂

I work at St Vincent’s and have been going to the Beauchamp Hotel for about 13 years now. It has always been my favourite place for lunch and evening get togethers with work colleagues. The staff are no. 1. Nothing is ever a problem and they always have a smile on their faces which makes it a nice friendly environment. Nice music in the background and not too loud justmakes it a cosyand relaxing place to be. Upstairs is great too and they have a cute little garden type area which takes you away from the hustle and bustle of city life.Another bonus is the great food. Coming from an Italian background I love my food and I cannot fault this place when it comes to the menu. I haven’t had anything I don’t like yet and the portions are great and not too expensive for the area.Well done to all the staff. I’ll be back soon.

Average and overpriced food, and extremely slow service. It may be ok for drinks and playing pool but if you’re after food, there are plenty of better options nearby.

Just had a great lunch for the second day in a row.Don’t lose the chef because the Thai salads are to die for and great value for money. The atmosphere for lunch is fabulous and the staff attitude first class. The wine list has some great well known Australian wines at realistic prices. As a temporary resident just up the road my family and I were delighted to find it.A great world standard pub. Try it

We only stopped here after missing opportunities for far more decent pubs along other end of Oxford street. The pub was dated and extremely noisy from traffic as it is situated at a busy intersection near the hospital. The frequently passing by ambulance sirens was deafening. The drinks were very standard too, and I didn’t like that cider either. thernbdiary.com

We ordered with Suppertime.com and were very happy with the food and how efficiently our order arrived. My husband had the steak sandwich and I had the rigatoni and both were delicious. Not sure why the service is being rated as terrible in other reviews but we had a great experience and would recommend to others.

The moral of this review is: don’t come here on a Tuesday afternoon. Not only did it take us 10 minutes to be served but then the guy behind the bar didn’t know how to use the register. So the owner came and took our lunch order, unfortunately they had run out of the gin we had ordered so we had to order another drink. The food came (Wraps) which cost us $10 each which are better up the road for $6.50. A wasted $40 on an over-priced lunch and incompetent service.
