We went for the midweek $22 special of main and glass of wine, which was great value and the food was reasonable but we were rushed in and out and pretty much ignored by the staff who were attending other tables eating a la carte. When my wife hurt her tooth or a large bit of gristle the waitiers reply was ‘well that just happens sometime’.

For so long I pass by but never thought to stop I’m despite looking very appealing to the eye.Well boy when I finally stopped in, let me just say it didn’t disappoint at all. Food was well balanced and personally the correct portion sizes, not to large and not to small. Service was on point and very helpful

Not a bad place for a work lunch, albeit not the cheapest. There’s plenty of competition in this Stanley St corridor, so the $18 pasta was good, but probably not worth $18. Still, there’s nothing wrong with the food, it’s only the price that’s the main setback. Nice setup and great staff though, can’t fault them!

Love this place! It never disappoints. They have beautiful food and service. Always a favourite and whenever I take people here they always love it too. They gluten free menu is excellent.

Dined here with group of 5, ordered crab pasta, prawn pasta, barramundi and zucchini flower. Overall great pastas, especially blue swimmer crab spagettini was amazing. I enjoyed prawn pasta too, the pasta was so fresh. I am not a barramundi fan but friends enjoyed the dish also. All in all fantastic service, good tasting food. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com

A real disappointment compared to previous visits. The pasta tasted like two- minute noodles and the crab in the crab spaghettini recommended by the waiter was nearly non-existent. We were told the antipasti included zucchini flowers. None was included and we were then told, after the antipasti was served, they had run out of them. The waiter was impatient and unhelpful and the manager was surly in his response to our concerns. Even the zabaglione was bland. The manager said he would remove the charge for the spaghettini but the bill, when it arrived, still included it. When confronted, he removed 50% of the cost of the dish. We would not return.

We came here for a midweek dinner. The place seemed fairly busy, and the menu looked good. It’s a cute neighborhood place. We hadn’t been here for about a year, and liked it last time. Unfortunately, the service and food was a letdown this time. We tried the tagliatelle calabrese, and it wasn’t seasoned at all. The parmesan was already grated on the pasta, and no one came by to ask if we wanted more. The Chianti we ordered was fine, but the wait staff seemed a bit annoyed and not very attentive that night. They seemed more interested in trying to push us to order more food. We didn’t feel welcome at all. Don’t think we’ll be back again.
