The food here was good and came out pretty quickly. The service was also really good. There’s plenty of seating which is good.Located really close to carriageworks so is a nice place to go to around that area.
A nice rustic and simple interior. Lots of old wood benches and tables. No air conditioning so definitely grab a table outside on those hot summers days. The owner is very friendly and up for a good chat. The coffee is strong and hot with some very nice flavour. The toasted banana bread is sweet and cakey, toasted well and not over-buttered. No pressure to move on when we were done. Excellent service and very quick.

They serve a PowerPoint breakfast in a jiffy and it’s not too heavy in your pocket either. Their organic coffee also tastes great! The only.compmain I had was that they didn’t ask if I wanted butter on my toast, but I probably should’ve told them that from my end. Overall I’d say it’s a nice place to come grab a quick breakfast before heading off to Uni
Love this place!!! Super close to uni (Darlington campus/Abercrombie Business School anyway) very friendly staff, very affordable and very simple but cosy. Oh, and my friend swears by the banana and raspberry bread.EDIT: BEST. CHAI.
For the Sydney International art exhibit, we’d wanted to have brunch at Cornerstorne beforehand… but they were only letting in VIPs… And obviously, we weren’t. Abercrombie Cafe was the closest cafe, and it was kind of fun seeing a constant stream of locals and others pouring through the doors after coffee and food. I had a generous bacon and egg roll, and my pals were happy enough with their breakfasts, I think. We overloaded on coffee, and one friend even managed to flirt a bit with a handsome male customer who was also flirting with her. Add to that very friendly and efficient service and what else can you ask for? andyquan.com
