I love Indian food and was very happy to find this place so close to my hostel (Wake Up Sydney). My boyfriend and I loved this place so much, we ate there for dinner every night.
Had been a loyal customer – the food is just ok, naan generally good but sometimes very dry, and everything is a bit overpriced, but I stuck with it. However, I don’t plan to return after an incident in which I picked up two forks for my food, to be very rudely told ‘it’s too many, 20c each!’ in a tone suitable for a petty thief or maybe a stray dog, before she eventually conceded ‘fine, you may have ONE!’ !!! Unfortunately I was too shocked to ask her name, as I would otherwise really hope she would be fired! Not only was there no indication anywhere that the privilege of using a fork would cost 20c, but this sheer rudeness – instead of, I don’t know, letting a fork go?! – was just so unacceptable and disgusting. That’s no way to treat customers, and I won’t go back as, when I choose to give you business, I don’t appreciate being spoken to like a criminal!!
