I used to eat kebabs from Uni Brosevery once in a few weeks then upgraded to meatboxes.I preferred to eat beef instead of the chicken meatboxesbecause chicken was usually a little on the dry side. On the other hand, beef was usually a little juicy and had plenty of flavour. I have nothing bad to say about the chips.Popular food to grab from here include: (1) pide; (2) chips; (3) meatboxes;and (4) kebabs – all of which are delicious to eat.If you come here at around 1 PM, be prepared to wait; mornings and late afternoons seem to be the best times to order food here.I would advise people to try the beef meatbox with barbeque, chilli and garlic sauce (pic attached). Make sure you get a soft drink otherwise your insides will feel very oily.Uni Bros… for your daily dose of halal goodness; no haram included.
Popular place with the university crowd, never empty at lunch time. I had a really rude encounter with one of the staff members there a while ago and I haven’t been back since.
I love the kebab and meat boxes and pides. It has a great taste, especially when you’re hankering for something unhealthy. However, it is not high class, but that’s the best when it comes to kebabs.
Seems like everyone comes here for meat with extra meat. As a vegetarian this originally put me off, but I’ve since tried the falafel roll and it’s not bad, though could have done with more hummus. Nevertheless, I reckon I’ll be back for more.
Best turkish food on campus!Im frequent to this shop since working in Sydney uni.My fave pick is the mix plate which contains turkish rice mixed with beef and chicken kebab meat, salad and pita bread drizzling with two choices of your favourite sauces ( garlic / homous / chili / etc). It only cost you $9.5 – definitely value flr money for uni food shop.Another good food is their pide range of chicken, beef, spinach and potato. Please expect to wait between 5-10mins during peak hours.Highly recommend it if you happen to be in Sydney university food court.
This is the best place to eat on usyd campus. Even after graduating and trying many different pides, the pides here are still the best I have ever had – especially the chicken and mushroom. The kebabs are not as good but are still okay. Pricing is also very fair.
Uni Bros is a popular spot for lunch at USYD with endless queues everyday. They serve really good kebabs and salads but what I always go there for is the kebab box. I usually get this with hot chips but decided to opt for meat box with rice instead. The rice is chewy, round, flavoursome and there was a lot of it! There was also a generous serving of chicken too. I got BBQ sauce on top which normally goes nicely with chips but not so much with rice. Better to opt for hummus sauce instead. Overall this is a decent lunch and good value for $8.50 with Access. medium.com
