Good basic pub food. Parents and I are visiting from Melbourne and the upstairs outside eating area has a great view of the Harbour Bridge and harbour. Has the feel of the good classic local pub. We ordered the lamb shanks, the harbour burger and the nachos – nachos is a bit disappointing if you’re looking for a decadent and cheesy pile of nachos as it came with a few tortilla chips around the side of the plate with the cheese mostly on the ground beef and other toppings. The other meals were simple but good. Don’t expect amazing food but it is just good simple Aussie pub food for relatively reasonable prices and the view makes it worth it!

Wine list…ok hand a nice Pinot bout other wines were average. View really is ok but you don’t really see much besides the base of the bridge. Toilets aren’t that great.. But seriously are they ever are!! it’s 2016, I’m drunk and merry wouldn’t be my first choice of venue but hey I have been here for 5 hours so hey what can I say it’s ok
Great location, however, the most bored staff to have ever poured a beer.You often have to call out to them as they stand with their back to the bar checking out their phone, and then they seem very upset you bothered them. With good staff this place could be a cracker.
