Best restaurant experience in Dubbo. Let me tell you that we had the best night. We have feasted at the very best in every way, but the ones we remember and wish to go back to are the ones where we make friends for life. The piano man Rod was so friendly and entertained our daughter Nyah who was loving the opportunity to dance, while we enjoyed sampling the local wines. Not only were the staff lovely, but the people who dined there were also lovely. I think when staff make diners feel happy and relaxed – it is contagious. We made friends with a teacher from Lightning Ridge and her mum – so much so that we will visit her when we travel to Lightning Ridge. The food was good, we enjoyed the scallops, the grilled barramundi, and the mango dessert. We did order the Lobster which wasn’t quite up to scratch – BUT they did not charge us and gave us complimentary desserts. EVERY restaurant makes stuff ups at one time or another, we are human, it’s how they remedy it that sets them apart from others. I worked in hospitality for 12 years and the things i’ve seen done in your fancy Sydney and Adelaide 5 star restaurants would make you think twice about eating it, let alone pay the couple of hundred bucks for it. I highly recommend this place when visiting Dubbo.
