Falafel was dry and burnt. It seems like the falafel was old. I only went there because I have seen good reviews but to be honest, I didnt enjoy my meal there.I traveled all the way from Fairfield because I seen the good reviews and was craving a good falafel. It has turned me off falafel for a while until I tried this new place in Fairfield today! Massive difference. In its defence, it was a couple of years ago when I ate there but it was so bad I got turned off falafel and did not eat another falafel until today.Try it and make your own mind up.

This place is incredible value for money! Probably best Lebanese food I have eaten and all for just over $10!! They have great fresh salads and incredibly tasty charcoal cooked meats. Make sure you try the garlic dip/sauce!!!!!

Hijazi’s is amazing! The BEST falafel’s in Sydney. Ignore the negative reviews. I’m a fussy eater and have tried middle eastern food around Australia and overseas. This place IS GREAT! People are freaking out over the colour of the falafel’s but they’re just not used to freshly made falafel’s like Hijazi’s. They’re soft and delicate on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. The lamb and chicken is fantastic, tender, flavour-some and juicy! The dips are creamy and authentic. I suggest getting the mix plate which includes lamb, beef chicken, falafel’s, salad, dip and bread all for $17! It’s my fave and large enough to share between two people. Best way to try a bit of everything! I have yet to try the breakfast here but I hear good things from people you have been.
