I just visited Stretto for a late lunch with my daughter. I ordered a Moroccan mint tea from the menu, described as green tea with mint and lemon. I received a Tea Drops brand Oriental Jasmine Tea. When I asked if I had the correct tea the woman in charge told me it was correct and that the Moroccan mint tea description was taken directly from the Tea Drops website. She wasnt prepared to discuss it further and seemed like she was already defensive, so I sat back down and checked the website. The description on the Tea Drops site made no mention of Moroccan mint tea, unsurprising given that Jasmine Tea is from Asia and Morocco is in Africa. I asked to speak to the woman again and waited patiently as I could see there were several customers. However, I didnt expect to wait for over 20 minutes, especially once the customers had cleared and the women had been in and out of the back room several times. I finally approached her and was told that she had thought the description was odd and had mentioned it to her manager when it was put on the menu. I found this strange as she had been adamant before that the description was correct. I explained how I had become more and more annoyed because of being ignored for so long (the visit was between 2&3pm so not a very busy time). She said she had been waiting for us to finish our meals – so obviously no offer of replacement tea was ever considered. I personally think she checked the website herself, realised she was wrong, and hoped we would just go away. I was given my money back for the tea. Terrible customer service where an apology and offer of another tea would have been all that was needed right at the start. Both meals we had were underwhelming, even without the tea issue. Neither were tasty, but rather bland and we didnt finish them. We definitely wont be back.

Stacked A nice brunch option and is very filling. This dish has hash brown (my favourite!), fetta, spinach, cherry tomatoes, bacon and poached egg. The poached egg wash cooked to perfection, when you slice it, the egg york just oozes down like a river to the rest of the stack..Vego (V)A vegetarian sandwich with avocado, fetta and tomato and oregano. A really tasty sandwich to my surprise. It’s definitely something you would want to try again.. I didn’t write in the review, but their coffee was nice as well.
