The croissant was quite dense, didn’t like that. It improved greatly after some time in the oven but was not at all buttery. The beef and beer pie was ok – somewhat soggy casing but it held together, slivers of somewhat chewy beef in a gelatinous sauce with no flavour. Alright for $6 though.
Yum! have just heated a Scottish Shepherd’s Lamb Pasty bought from Eveleigh Mkts this morning & it’s SO NICE. I love pies but not soggy cardboard pastry, so these puff pastry parcels with trad pie fillings are just perfect. The Chicken Fricassee looked great too, my son ate it in record time & said it tasted great. Got the 4 for $20 deal so I’m off to put the Thai Chicken in the oven. If you’re at the markets don’t miss these, they heat up crisp & delicious!
Just a small shop inside the shopping centre. Primarily selling bread and rolls and a couple of other things like lamingtons, sweet croissants and meat pies and sausage rolls. They also sell coffee. I got some bread rolls and a coffee – very cheap and quick. If you love sweet things, the almond croissants sound amazing
I’ve only had their delicious loaves and amazing croissants from their stall at the Carriageworks Farmers Markets, but I am so in love that I whipped out the zomato app just to get this out. Checking out their Facebook, it’s also apparent that they bake with love and authenticity. Their bakes are so good, I’m already looking for the other farmers markets they sell in.
