The service is fast and the food is just sooo good! Its quite busy, especially on Friday nights but thats totally expected. The food looks nice and is also so flavourful too.

Eastwood is saturated with Chinese food options, so it can be hard for a newcomer to stand out. A Bite of My Shanghai does well to draw a crowd, especially being located just across the road from the very popular Taste of Shanghai. It offers a great alternative if you’re after great service, a more spacious ambience and more options on the menu. Even if you’re not, we’d recommend visiting just to try the Pan Fried Pork Buns- they are the crispiest pork buns we’ve ever tried, and definitely one of the best we’ve had in Sydney. berrynutritious.com.au

Came here for a late lunch with a very large group including two babies but they were able to accommodate us. We ordered a variety of dishes including the classic xiao long bao, pan-fried pork buns, dried scallops with deep fried tofu, Yangzhao-style beancurd, deep fried squid with salty egg yolk, squid ink fried rice – all of which was tasty and welcome to the hungry horde. The only downside was when they gave us a tin of steamed rice (which we had ordered at the beginning) after we had effectively demolished everything that we had ordered and therefore returned untouched… but then they tried to charge us for it.

Revamp of an existing restaurant with a Shanghai twist now. Open kitchen with window so you can see the dumpling making in progress. We had the Yangzhou style beancurd which was quite nice, but a bit lacking in flavour. Sliced fish with pickled mustard was nice, the addition of pear was a bit strange in the dish though. Quite a popular restaurant so there can be a wait for tables at times. The wined clams are good, and it’s quite a generous serving
