It’s a nice little bakery in a similar vein to breadtop or 85 degrees (so they have a lot of competition in the area). The owners and staff are really friendly and happy to make recommendations. The bread here does not seem as sugar laden as the other places which is a good thing. They have some unique breads and ingredients which makes a good point of differentiation.
Bao bao bakery offers a delicious selection of buns, which they advocate as lower in sugar/healthier than your average Asian-style buns. Highly recommended are the pumpkin cream cheese bun (generous amount of filling), and sesame walnut bun (super soft) – they’re fan favourites for good reason and definitely worth the slightly upmarket price! The staff are very friendly too 🙂
Another newish asian bakery in similar vein to 85deg n the like. What differentiates bao bao from the rest are its creative recipes n some insta worthy presentation. Think matcha w red bean fillings, strawberry w coconut kinda flavours. Alongside are classics like earl grey n their interpretation of good old coffee bread. Currently running a 10-15% disc for your next purchase. All the above mentioned are good 3.25/5 though i didnt like the earl grey 2.25/5 (w its raisins in the bread). Friendly full of smiles service.
More of a up market bread shop (you can tell by the prices) they have a good assortment of breads and sumInstragram worthy (there is one on my instragram already!) But it does look and taste better than your average bread shop Tried this sweet potato donut with plenty of nuts in it and I was impressed. Nice light flavour to it They gave me a 10% discount voucher too and staff are friendly A lot more I want to try there
