It was busy on a weekend night which was a good sign, and they did not disappoint. Annoying thing is it’s cash only. The vegan dumplings were presented nicely and very tasty also! Craving them again! We also got a veg hot pot which was scrumptious!!!! And another mushroom dish which too was lovely, but not as good as the others. Overall, everything was great and worth getting again. There are so many Asian restaurants in Eastwood, it often gets difficult to see through them all and find the good ones. Eastwood Peking Seafood would be one of the good ones on this side.
Chinese food done right. Nothing exceptional but always consistent. Great idea for a dinner with family so you can order a banquet and try a range of dishes. Can get busy so book ahead.
Excellent selection of Chinese dishes. Dish if night is Peking Duck of course.Shan Dong chicken was 2nd, very flavorsome. Wasabi Beef Chunks
30/7 had the scollop in XO source with vermicelli . Yummy One of my local restaurant for Chinese food.I like their set menu which I don’t have to think what to eat. Usually I go set AStaffs are friendly
Average food, horrible rude staff and only HIGH prices and 2% extra surcharge even on debit card. The prawns wasnt deveined(in the pic) and upon informing them,1st staff in a rude tone was like the supplier supplys it this way,i dont know. We spoke to the 2nd staff who seemed like a manager and he goes in a very rude tone too -why are you telling me again when you already told the other staff, tell the manager if you want. Food was average not worth it all.
If you fancy getting treated badly by the arrogant waitstaff and paying for it, please give this place your custom. We went there for lunch with a couple of restless kids, and werephysically bumped by servers, to let us know that we were not welcome there. One was a young Chinese girl with long straight hair pulled up into a pony tailand the other was an older Chinese man in his 50s-60s. He hit me on the way to set up an empty table with papernapkins, plates and bowls, as I picked up my child to leave, and he turnedaround to see my reaction. This was definitely done out of spite, as it waspurposefully executed, the restaurant was HALF EMPTY and there would be plentyof choices to place future customers. There was no need for haste, such that Iwould end up elbowed.Instead of respecting the existing paying diner in front ofhim, he would rather express his self-importance by conveying how busy he was.By pushing me, he was saying get out of my way, but took it into the physicalrealm which is even worse. He even said Hurry Leave in Cantonese. I dont knowwhether he knows that I understood him or not, but that is extremely bad behaviour. The food is fine, but I would not go there again. Its notcheap and instead of getting a nice dining experience, you pay for horrendoustreatment from horrid people. I think this must be normal practice here, asmore than one server exhibited this behaviour. They must think they are better people, and born of royalblood perhaps. The work culture and behavioural norms exhibited at PekingSeafood Restaurant in Eastwood creates a toxic environment for paying diners, which you would be well advised to avoid.
My go-to place for delicious Chinese food. Me and the family have been coming here for years for their seafood dishes and other stir fry tastes that you can’t get from the other Chinese restaurants around the area. I particularly enjoy their Vermicelli Crab and their Wasabi Beef. They also have a really cheap deal past 2pm as well, which is great if you’re having a late lunch. The seafood of course is a tad expensive but then again what seafood isn’t? Definitely worth coming for a meal in my opinion, especially if you’re feeling like Chinese food that’s not Shanghai-style.
