Don’t waste money here. We tried this restaurant because there’s a bit of a wait at other restaurants. The food is crap compare to all other Chinese restaurants. No wonder they are not busy and there’s no wait. I dine in Eastwood every week and this is the worst restaurant I have eaten at. Many nicer restaurants to go to if you want to eat good food in Eastwood. Also…VERY rude customer service!! Waiter made us remove everything off the table and they removed to table cloth. When we questioned them they said we didn’t order enough food. Petty over a table cloth…serious?? Haven’t seen any restaurant like this, not even in the third world country.
It was our first time visit in a weekday afternoon, we ordered the bitter melon stir fried with beef rice and shredded chicken soup noodle. Both meal comes with a drink and we had milk tea. The milk tea was quite smooth. It was very close to the Hong Kong style. The only improvement could be having a stronger tea base. Anyway we were very happy for the milk tea. For the rice it was okay, cooked freshly and well seasoned. For the soup noodle the soup base was very nice. Not just using msg to make it. Staffs were nice. I asked the dinner menu to have a look and found the prices were quite reasonable. May come to try the dinner dish one day.
Extremely poor service. Our entrees came last. Our main courses came first. The manager did not take any responsibility in this case and told us Chinese cuisine does not different between entrees and mains! The menu states differently. As everyone I know eats Peking duck first before their main courses with rice. Dont go here unless you want poor service and to eat your meal backwards. fe3eats.wordpress.com
