Hot stone bimbimbap was good, rice was crisp. Delicious sides. Ginseng chicken was ok but could have been more flavoursome, no ginseng spotted in the soup and the chicken had no rice stuffing (plain rice was provided on the side)
I’ve been here in the past and had the steamed spicy monk fish which seemed to be the highlight of everyone’s meal, and although I never liked the dish in general, I did enjoy it from Jung Won.So I came back to try more dishes as we felt like Korean food. The stews were both great! Rich in flavour and plentiful. Sides were nice too. The dumplings were average though, wouldn’t get them again. They were overly oily as well.
