A great little Korean restaurant. Very tasty food. Very reasonably priced menu. Great service specially by the lovely girl Sue. One more great thing. They voluntarily re-fill the side dishes. You don’t have to ask even. This place is highly recommended.
Ordered kimchi pancake and it was drenched in oil. Not crispy, mainly soggy from sitting in oil. The taste wasnt bland but it definitely was not good. It was just a salty/sour mush with a oil coating. Ate a few pieces and the plate was just left with pools of oil not even exaggerating. My friend said that it normally doesnt happen so maybe they just had a bad day? The abalone porridge is pretty bland with like nearly no abalone but I guess if youre going for a clean taste then you wouldnt mind it. Dont really recommend this restaurant…
Tasteless even the side dishes.First time we don’t eat the side dishes in Korean restaurant. They offer 5 side dishes including reddish, kimchi, bean sprouts, oil fry union and dry tofu. They are tasteless even the traditional kimchi. We (2) ordered 2 main dishes. Korean sausage soup had very strong beef organ smell, maybe just not our favour we didn’t touch it. Spicy chicken with cheese had chili smell but the chicken has no favour but size of dish is right.Staffs are friendly, a star for them.
Korean sausage 2.75/5, we were told it was made predominantly of rice cakes and it tasted so, only less chewy. I was hoping that it’d be similar to black pudding but it wasnt. Seafood pancake 2.75/5, this should have been named cephalopod pancake as i could only taste cuttlefish/squid/calamari-like meat. Perhaps Sydneyguyrojoe and Leon The Son Of God ate all the fish oysters prawns in the pancake! Grilled mackerel 3/5, nice smoky flavours, but as expected bones galore. Tofu n kimchee hotplate, had a taste but not enough to score . Leon didnt wanna share.. Friendly service though can get a little chaotic when they were running full house mid meal. Present company 4.75/5
Food_Rampage_AM @INSTA and Leon The Son Of God will add more Al said it right,we were waiting and just missed by a few seconds to get the last table, the waitress came out and said they are just cleaning another table now. They wanted our business and they got it. A lot of other places couldn’t care less that we were walking outWe tried a few dishes. For myself: Korean sausage: a little bland, with the salt, too salty, you can’t win Seafood pancake: nice but the experience greatly was reduced by shell, shell from egg i thought but no it was from the small mussels I believe. The shell part was hard Mackerel: was told not really any bones but that was not true. The bones at least weren’t small but it reduced my enjoyment. But then again I should of known,it’s almost a whole fish. It’s a shame because I liked the taste and was the reason why I wanted to try this place Tried sum of Leon’s tofu which actually has spicy pork on the plate,I sampled sum of the pork,it wasn’t that spicy but that’s good for me but the few pieces I tried was just fat 5 side dishes came and water without asking, the waitress was friendly But I doubt I will be back
