Had dinner here on a Wednesday night. Service was great! Food was pretty good too! The steak and fries was my favourite dish. The pork terrine was good but a little to cold when served. The chicken pate was on point! Scallops were good but not as fresh as I expected. The cheese souffl was amazing omggggg! The tuna tartare was divine! Would go back for round two
My friend and I organised an impromptu visit to Sydney and therefore took a stab in the dark when picking a restaurant to dine.My initial impression was very positive, the decor was dark and a little sultry (ideal for most occasions)The menu was just right, it had enough selection without feeling too extensive while the specials complimented around it.We ordered a selection to share, including Confit Duck, Tuna Parfait and Hickory pear salad. Although we encountered some issues with our Entree, this was quickly rectified by our attentive waitress and the venue manager.The highlight of the night was dessert, the most decadent Blood plum tarte tatin – in itself worth the visit.All in all we had a lovely time!
Fantastic food; interesting menu… Friendly, attentive service… Buzzy atmosphere. We have been a few times now and it does not disappoint.
We did the 65 dollar feed me menu which was great value for money. The starters are pretty tasty but the steak fries as the best part of the menu. The restaurant has a cool vibe with creative cocktails and very helpful staff.
Went on a Tuesday evening, it was quiet, not many people so cant comment on the atmosphere but I can say that the lay out and lighting was spot on, not too bright but not venturing on the dark side either.I opted for the Le Grand Banquet adding in a specialty piece of meat they had on offer that evening which was cooked perfect in my opinion (seared and red in the middle).The banquet was satisfying, if youre a fussy eater dont bother, there are flavours that will hit you in the face, in a good way 😉
