Hmmm… we went there on my friend’s recommendation, but even he admitted his memory of the place was better than reality. Unfortunately the run-down restaurant with its too bright fluorescent lighting, smelly carpet, and sloppy dressed waiter wearing track pants & jogging shoes overrode their specialty of the house duck. Peking Duck was the standard first dish, and we made the mistake of choosing salt n pepper leftovers as the 2nd dish. But all it was was bones. Cost 4 of us $30 each for the duck + 2 dishes, but we won’t be going back for round two.

Having been Beijing for years, i have to say the Beijing roast duck here is below average. The sauce is authentic, but the pancake is too thick. What’s worse, duck skin is so thin, totally not crispy. However, we found the duck is still the best meal here after trying other ones.Awful service. Remember, dont call waiters several times, and when finishing, no chatting, leave ASAP . Or a fatter waiter would speak ill of you behind your back. Me and my friends met there, but it was just a bad experience. One thing i indeed admire is its techniques of raising awareness.Do not go there , unless they change new waiters.
