Consistently good food at Hoomiko, their entrees are delish, their gyoza OMG yum. Always great bento boxes and main meals, I am a regular for the teriyaki and it never disappoints. I have also ordered the platters for parties. All very good.
Poor food and poor service. Unfortunately the food doesn’t make up for the poor service here. With Korean-run Japanese restaurants the Korean menu options are usually a good bet. The bibimbab was tasteless and the beef in it was low quality and also tasteless.I cannot comment on the quality of the sushi, as I only had the bibimbab.

Good food. Really good food here. Sushi and sashimi is always fresh and hot meat dishes also very good. Service however is really ordinary. Have waited 15 minutes to order, and it’s not that busy a place. Food takes a while to come out as well. Rarely go here for that reason.
One of the better tasting and authentic Japanese restaurants I have been to in Australia at a really affordable price. I can’t say much for the decor as it is very basic. The staff are polite and friendly although it may take a few times for one or two staff members to understand what your saying
