Heard so much about this place and finally got around to checking it out. Did not disappoint! Great food! Really delicious and fresh. Would go back again but will need to book next time!
One of my favourite finds in Sydney! Tucked away on a very small residential street is this buzzing eatery, after trying the food I can see why it gets so busy and they had to turn people down without bookings! The stand out dishes are: moorish chicken wrap One of the specialities here, this chicken wrap is packed full of flavour. The chicken is marinated in gorgeous herbs and yoghurt, and cooked until its nice and juicy. It was such a moorish dish, I only wished I had a whole one to myself! Pumpkin hummous I absolutely love eating chickpea hummous dip, but coming this with smashed pumpkin just elevates it x10! I would highly recommend the pumpkin hummous and ordering it with a basket of flat bread. I would Highly recommend trying this place!
I would love to rate this place higher than a 3 BUT where this place is great for tapas style middle eastern cuisine, it lacks in its drinks, dessert menu and ambiance. You must remember as my dining party only learnt after the fact- mix up the order. we didnt realise we ordered so much fried options. As good as they were, the heaviness of it all left us staring at a sizable doggy bag in the end.The ambience was another issue, whilst its pumping busy, we felt a little hard of hearing and squashed at our stool table. So loud, hard to hear others, no worries if you dont mind 1 centimeter distance from a stranger.Overall want to try it at the earlier time slot as bumping in at 8pm is like bumping in like a grandma.
