What a great little restaurant just across the road from the theatre. Ate here Saturday. Time was limited and they were very busy. But meals served quickly. Very good creme brle. Very welcoming staff. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely wonderful Italian restaurant. The hospitality of this place is lovely and they were really warm and inviting and it is located on Enmore Road. We were immediately seated and they were nice enough to bring out some kids’ menus with some colouring in markers too to colour in the other side of the menu. All in the mood for pasta we had a selection of pasta to share. They included Gnocchi Sorrentina, Ravioli All’ Anitra, and Papardelle Ragu Con Porcini. We finished off with Tiramisua. The pasta all tasted freshly made and the sauces were delicious. Full of flavour and packed a punch. I love how they freshly shaved the parmesan cheese over the pasta. The tiramisua had the right amount of coffee to biscuits to mascarpone. Tasted lovely! Really nice local Italian restaurant with great pasta. It is nice for a lovely dinner for couples, friends and families. Fantastic all rounder.
For an authentic, old school Italian meal, this is the place to go. It has been around for more then a decade, ran by a family so it almost feels homely being here & eating here. The menu is extensive with light, fresh dishes as well as the comforting & familiar. The caprese with prosciutto was fresh & delicious, mussels were light with a delicious broth, figs with gorgonzola is rich with beautiful plump sweet figs contrasting with a salty, umami rich blue cheese sauce. Even the salt & pepper calamari & prawns and zucchini flowers had a light crisp batter that were not oily or dense, just appetizing. All the pasta & risotto dishes are amazing so cannot go wrong. The seasonal specials such as the hearty osso bucco is so homely & comforting & you cant go wrong with a good saltimbocca or spatchcock. Finish off with a delicious affogato, gelato or sorbet or indulge in a light, creamy cheesecake or a moist, slightly warm orange & almond cake. Great little local gem.
This is your typical authentic Italian restaurant with very authentic service from lovely ladies whom all seem to be related. We went here on Saturday night with group of friends that were visiting from Melbourne..Suggest you make a booking as the restaurant is small and very busy. There are no mood lights or music in the background here, just square tables with wooden chairs and white paper on the table. Food was great, we had pasta, lasagne and risotto and were all very happy with our food.
Delicious. Authentic Italian food & lovely authentic owners & staff – all the way from Naples. Fig & Gorgonzola entre was amazing! Mussels absolutely beautiful & the scampi pasta – wow! Will be flying back to Sydney to come here again!
Super tender calamari in hot pot and in mixed grill. A very good size for the mixed grill and hotpot Seafood are well cooked. Family run business, warm atmosphere
