Nice and slow. Food and coffee was yummy but the service was really slow considering the place wasn’t busy.
Very friendly local cafe serving a small selection of wraps, homemade pies and a few cooked options. Had the poached eggs with mushroom medley & smoked salmon ($15), friend had the pancake stack with cream, maple syrup, blueberries & strawberries. Pancakes were light and fluffy ($9.50)! Some of the dessert options are sourced from Strawberry Fields patisserie @ Dulwich Hill. Very well priced and will return!
Very friendly customer service. Pancakes I had were fresh and fluffy
Local cafe worth a visit. So nice to have a local place to pop into for a nice coffee. The food is pretty good too!
Great local cafe. This little place has become a favourite. Really good coffee, great food and some genuinely nice people on both sides of the counter – a great place to get to know the locals. The mushroom tart and the pies are specialties of the house as are a number of other really yummy items which are made onsite. The best poached eggs and my teenagers love the pancake stack and the croissants. The pastries and cakes are pretty good too – some made in house and others from a local patissiere. All so delish! Hard to decide what to have sometimes!
Patronising. I walked in to Petiterie looking for a good cup of coffee. I was told by the man who owns it that I was in good hands because he was from Melbourne, and in Melbourne they know good coffee, unlike in Sydney, where they know nothing. I tried to ignore this patronising diatribe, after all, this idiot was about to put his money where his mouth was and actually make me a coffee. He did, and I actually can’t think of another cafe in Stanmore, Enmore, or Petersham, that makes worse coffee. I haven’t tried the patisserie stuff, I saw no reason to go back when the owner was so condescending and the coffee so bad, but it might be okay as long as the good people of Melbourne haven’t consulted on that as well.
Very nice place. A little place on a busy road. The coffe and tarts are delicious. The stuff are extremely friendly and the care they take to serve the food to your liking just make this place even more special. Definitely worth a visit.
