The new version of the Duke seems almost the same inside except for replacing the pool table with pokies. The traditional cozy interior keeps the older people and the grungier hipsters, not the mention the very large ones. Drink prices are ok with an excellent happy hour and the food seems pretty good with a lot of vegetarian options. No real change and a comfortable place to drink.
I am loving the reopened Duke of Enmore. I have been a couple of times and the atmosphere is always happy and pumping. The staff are all lovely and the food is great. The menu is pub food, but catering to vegans. I get the cauliflower steak. It is cheap and delicious.
