Great first experience at Curry Lovers! We had the vegetarian banquet ($25pp) which was terrific value for money. Between 2 people, we had a mixed entree plate each, choice of 3 curries with naan and rice, and a dessert. The curries were very good. Standout for me was the palak paneer a spinach based curry with cottage cheese – which reminded me almost of a creamy pesto sauce – went divinely with the garlic naan. Would highly recommend this. Samosas, onion bhaji and aloo malai tikki were ok, perhaps over-cooked which made them a little dry and over-crisp. Dessert was khulfi – the pistachio was quite nice, the mango was perhaps a little more icy than creamy. The waiters were very attentive and helpful, the manager (I assume) went around to all the tables chatting. Pleasantly surprised when they even offered us free refills of any of the main dishes! We went home very very satisfied, and deciding to be back for more next time.
We live in Epping and when it comes to Indian food there’s nothing much you can trust. Tried curry lovers for the first time and it was beyond expectations.Went there tired after a long day of work. Best customer service I have ever experienced in Sydney. Lovely food as well. We ordered butter paneer masala and daal makhani. Both were delicious. What a great end to a tiring day! I’ll be loyal to this one now. No regrets 🙂
This is most likely the best place to eat Indian food.To top it all, incredible atmosphere, well disposed, obliging and accommodating staff. Delighted with best customer service. Highly suggested and will visit once more.
This warm and welcoming Indian restaurant is gem which is situated 2mins from the train station. They are friendly and servise was fast. I ordered the butter chicken which was more than averagewould recommend this place to others.
Was pretty good. Place was full and staff were few but they were trying to be as useful as they can be. Butter chicken and the garlic naan were great! However stay away from the lamb dishes as they are so so. Desert kulfi was good as well. Place is very convinient near the train station , would recommend this place if you want to try Indian dishes in Sydney.
Great Indian restaurant. The food is so delicious. We had the CL banquet which is so reasonably priced for the amount of food you get ($30 per person for shared entree each, 2x meat dishes, 1x vegetarian dish, 2x breads and rice plus dessert or tea/coffee). Service was a little slow tonight but will continue to eat here again.
A really pleasant dining experience. They have a huge window that surrounds the place, and despite not being much of a view, it gave the restaurant a very open, clean vibe. There was only one waiter on the weeknight, but he was working hard to not keep anyone waiting. Really nice service. You can almost never go wrong with butter chicken so had to try it out from Curry Lovers. Delicious, just the right amount of creaminess, and chicken was so plump and juicy. The aloo matar is another favourite of mine and this one did not disappoint. Both curries went so well with rice and I wouldn’t be surprised if the other curries on the menu were of the same standard.A great pick for Indian in the area!
