Father’s day lunch brought us to try out Mughal Palace located on Beecroft Rd, Epping. Now Ive walked passed this restaurant a fair bit, and usually Ill see a few people enjoying their meals here. Personally I was intrigued to see the menu and the food they offered with a name like Mughal palace. I would expect a greater focus on traditional Mughal cuisine featuring creamy and spicy curry combinations, biryani for sure and really shahi (royal) desserts.
Ordered a couple of times as takeout. On both occasions the food was hot and tasty. We went to eat as dine in, and we found the masala dosa really bland and cold. I would stick with north Indian dishes and stay away from South Indian.
