Have been coming here ever since it opened at least 15 – 20 years. It is a very reasonably priced restaurant and has always provided excellent Bento Boxes for lunch or dinner. They have a great Japanese style function area which we used many times. Even although it is on the other side of Sydney for us it is still worth the trip as the food portions are excellent and food very fresh. Good beer menu and sushi made by sushi chef as you watch,. The decor definitely needs updating though and the benches are worn down and uncomfortable as are the wooden chairs however we look past that because of the reliable service and great reasonably priced food. We like Japanese and Indian & Chinese restaurants and know good value when we see it. Definitely excellent choice for Japanese food in the North West which is in short supply. Lots of korean restaurants around here as competition however this is better IMO.
Have been here numerous times, usually we go for the bento, the portions are huge but the price is quite reasonable.This time we got the chicken katsu don and the sushi and udon set. The don didnt have enough sauce to mix the rice in, but the chicken is crunchy and delicious.The udon was cooked just right and te sushi is fresh enough. Its a huge meal and would be good to share if youre not terribly hungry.
