Netty. Service was pathetic. We arrived at our booked time of 6.30pm. It was a 30degree evening. We had a group of 17 (10 of which were kids). Restaurant was not busy by any means and when we asked for drinks (20 minutes after being seated) we were told we needed to wait for table service. Another 25 minutes later the waitress arrived and took our drink orders. We told her we wanted to order food too and she said she would do it when she came back with drinks. 15 minutes later she arrived with drinks, took food orders (with lots of eye rolling and an obvious look of boredom). Our food finally arrived an hour later!!! We were unable to split bills so we added up our exact amounts and paid over $300 in cash. Upon going to the cashier he proceeded to overcharge us by $30. As we completely over the service by this point we didn’t even bother with the huge task of working out where we had been overcharged. I have since heard they make a habit of overcharging!! Also, the food was disgusting and completely overpriced. If you are after a schnitzel and chips (which is basically all you can order) then head to your local RSL or bowling club where they are more reasonably priced and actually taste better. None of us will ever go back and we dine out as a large group like this frequently. I have strongly advised many people to not bother eating here. Terrible experience!! I might also add that a group of diners nearby had arrived with a birthday cake and as it isn’t allowed, they were forced to sing happy birthday holding the cake out on the footpath!!

Enjoyable. Finally somewhere to eat on the coast a bit different . I had the knuckle , yum . my wife had a schnitzel and enjoyed it. . the 1ltr beer steins are great too . good atmosphere . service was good and friendly .
Was very loud, tables too close together. Service not great. Meal was overpriced & not nice. Schnitzel was too thick & dry, made you feel sick after awhile cause of the crumbling & oil. Accompaniments were bad. Needed a good salad or veggies to break it up a little. Won’t be going back.
Great European food. Ordered the sausage platter for $20 with mashed potato and loved it. Best mashed potato I’ve ever tried! Can’t wait to go back again.
Overpriced for the quailty of food provided & the service is terrible. In a group insist on everyone have a set banquet – We have been to this restaurant twice now – the first time we were stung with over $100 worth of drinks & on the second occassion we were stung with the excess food bill. Once was bad enough, twice is considered bad form. We won’t be back.
Meal sizes are good and the schnitzels are always good, pre book the schnitzel challenge and you defenatley wont leave hungy
