This is a great little place!. Three of us roamed around Batemans Bay looking for an early dinner after an afternoon at the beach. We decided on this place in the end mainly because at 5.45 it had plenty of tables outside with the beautiful bay view. In time for a quick happy hour Margherita which was exactly how I like it! The beer list was interesting and well received by the man in our group. We ordered calamari, potatoes and chorizo, prawns, slow cooked lamb (special board) and the duck salad. It all came out in perfect intervals and we were delighted with every dish. Everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully – hot food was good and hot! I don’t understand why this place has had so any bad reviews lately – there were 3 front of house staff working while we were there and they were helpful and very polite. Living in Sydney we are a bit picky for service and food! We certainly had a lovely experience!

Farewell Dinner on 16 April. Went with large group spread over two tables. Had $35 banquet. Service of food and drink very slow- had to remind wait staff about our orders. These orders were messed up completely- the other table got our food and drinks. While we waited and waited and waited. Service size very small and not real good anyway. Do not recommend. We are local people and will not go again. But we had a great time with a great group of people.Value for money??? No. On a score out of 10, I give it a 2
