Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Blank canvas, the meals were fresh and yummy. Afterwards we grabbed coffees to-go which were also great! Waitresses were very friendly and helpful – However a woman who appeared to be the owner or manager wasn’t quite as friendly.The view from your table is great, location is definitely a highlight of Blank canvas.
Would rate lower if possible. Lined up for 20 minutes, listening to the chef swear loudly at the cafe staff. He was aggressive and very audible. After lining up for 20 minutes they announced the kitchen was going to close because they were running out of food. Would not recommend and will never be returning.

Lovely little cafe. Waitresses were very friendly and attentive. After an hour a waitress explained our order had been left at the counter accidentally but she offered us drinks and was very apologetic so that didn’t bother us at all. I was going to write maybe the chef was having a bad day but after reading another review it is clear he has no respect for the wait staff. We sat near the counter and for about 2 hours got to enjoy his disgraceful attitude towards his staff. The food was pretty good so if there had been no unnecessary yelling I would have given 5 stars!
Great cafe on the beach. They were very busy New Year’s Day and let us know straight away there would be a wait for food. Excellent masala chai tea, avocado on toast with mushroom and divine goats cheese and excellent chicken burger and chips. Highly recommended.
