Best seafoods in town. Everything are fresh. Fish and chips was great, nicely deep fried. We also tried the Clyde River Oyster and prawns were great as well!! The downside is you have to line up and wait for your meals to be served. You will need to wait for a long time if the place gets busy.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best fish and chips in the Bay. It was rather ordinary, fish was dry and left a fatty greasy taste in your mouth, the calamari was very rubbery and greasy as well and the chips were ok. Staff were very friendly and it’s a very nice setting.
After a whole day at the beach I was expecting great fish and chips and I got what I asked for. The self service counter was apt and the girls did well to manage the place. My only concern, there was far too much oil for my comfort but after a few wipe downs, the best fish and chips I’ve had in a while. Good job guys.
Fresh but too oily ~ Yes, they catch their own seafood and it’s super fresh but their fish is too oily. It pretty much drips with oil. Had to leave the coating out and eat the fish and calamari seperately to avoid a tummy ache.We ordered ‘Prawn Kebabs’, having relished kebabs my whole life I know what kebabs are and the different ways one can cook it and actually relish it. We ordered with high expectations but they were pretty much skewers with prawns, deep fried in oil with no flavour inside. Yes, dripping with oil yet again. There was nothing ‘kebab like’ about it. Pretty misleading name for a dish.Thank god we ordered a side salad and had something to keep are palates from going on a soggy oil overdose.
