Literally on the water as the restaurant deck is on piers above the water. Fantastic spot at which you can relax and enjoy.  Came for the Sunday music session which was delightful, featuring local south coast artists. Choice of menu was either full lunch menu or snack menu, which consisted of 1/2 dozen dishes to choose from at  $12-$15 each.  Cocktails were good.  Staff were friendly and helpful.  I do love this place – breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere today. Great food presentation and friendly staff at a busy time (Mother’s Day). Wonderful river view. Enjoyed three courses. Live music was an entertainment bonus.

We really enjoyed the salmon on mash with Asian broth this evening, and the local oysters are always a treat. My companion’s fried squid salad could have had its coating a bit more evenly cooked, but the squid itself was very nice and fresh. The real star of the night was the friendly staff, who handled an unexpected local power outage with good-natured aplomb and we’re just delightful throughout. I’m looking forward to returning on my next visit to the Bay.

Nothing Wonderful. Went there for dinner recently. Location is great, with views up and down the Clyde river. Room is a bit old and tired. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Two entrees, first was olive sour dough with olives, and goat cheese, the second grilled scallops. Both were very good. Then came a long wait, really long, we weren’t in a hurry but it just seemed too long. For main I had a very good ceasar salad, Partner had ordered tempura marlin, just didn’t sound like a good combination to me when she ordered it, but hey her choice. Suffice to say my misgiving proved correct, the dish was awful. I think what she got was from a catering pack of tempura marlin sourced from the UAE. Not saying that’s what she got, but if not the chef certainly had an off night. Wouldn’t be in hurry to return. Shame really.
