I waited and waited and then eventually asked them how much more time, to which I was told 5 minutes but it took another 15 minutes. well was good. The tomato soup, with sour cream and big bun with butter, was. great. The soup itself had the acidity of the tomatoes which made it a bit. sour. The counter where you order and pay for your food at Cafe Red is located at the back of the shed. The menu has a heavy emphasis on tomatoes and strawberries obviously, and you can have breakfast, lunch, morning or afternoon tea when you visit. At breakfast time the menu is quite basic, good old bacon and eggs for example and at lunch time you can have Tomato Bruschetta; Quiche & Tomato Salad; Creamy Garlic & Roasted Tomatoes on Toasted Turkish Bread; and Tomato and Basil Fettuccine with Parmesan, to name but a few. Kidlets have their very own menu that includes Chicken Nuggets or Fish Cocktails with Chips; Cheese Toasties; or Sandwiches with Ricardoes Strawberry Jam or Tomato of course!

We both loved the coffee!. Breakfast was good too though the little one’s pancake might’ve been from yesterday. Their variation of the BLT nice and the breaky stack tasty. picked some strawbs and bought a jar of soup home for dinner – so so.

Expensive. While the cake we got was good and the coffee just average we thought it was far too expensive. A latte was $5 and each slice of cake $7.50. Twenty bucks for one coffee and two pieces of cake. I wouldn’t say we disliked it but we won’t be going back.
