We had to wait for a table which is understandable on a Sunday morning for the long weekend. Once seated our orders were promptly taken, however we then had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. Thankfully it was delicious – contrary to previous reviews – so we caught them on a good morning! It’s clear to see why the pancake place is so popular for those passing through Port.
My blueberry pancakes were too over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. Pancakes should be fluffy and golden. The maple syrup was great. Service was friendly. The vibe of the cafe is nice too. Shame the pancakes weren’t better. Maybe I had a one off experience.
Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though there was at least half of the tables free. Food was tasty but very overpriced for what you got. Nearly 5 dollars for a burnt mocha. Enjoyed the toucan decor though.
Love this place for breakfasr lynch or dinner. Seafood crepe is my favourite and their deserts are delicious. Great for the family including preschool friendly. Lovely bright and colourful restaurant. Yes many locals do eat here. Enjoy.
Yuck nothing is fresh, terrible coffee, bananas on my pancake were black, only one pancake with fruit on my $15 plate.. My husbands savoury pancakes weren’t any better mushroom tasted like rubber..After speaking to locals I realised its only tourists that keep this place going..
