Let’s begin with a 2 hour wait. Then the food. At best described as ordinary. Plain. Then the bill which was on the high side. I’d recommend going next door to beach house. Pay a dollar more and get way better quality of service and dishes.

Perhaps its a bad night. It was packed and the ground floor seems to have some good atmosphere. After waiting in line for 30min. We eventually got a table. However it was so busy we got a table near the toilet and the onsite kids place ground. The kids were screaming non stop without any adults supervision. We decided to move upstairs. After almost 1 hour. My cornfit duck arrived. It was so dry and burnt. It tastes nothing like duck. Have you ever bought Coles BBQ chicken and left it in the fridge for 2 days then thought its a good idea to eat it? It tasted exactly like 2 day old dry bbq chicken. It was so dry. I couldnt cut it with a knife. For a $27-29 main. This was really terrible. Also, When we asked the waiter how long would it take for the dinner to arrive, we were told they dont know. They had so many tickets in the kitchen waiting to be cooked. They cant tell us if its gonna be a 39min wait or 1.5hr wait. I think if you come to Port Macquarie for the first time. This is some mistake you would make. It really shouldve gone to Coles down the road to get a bbq chicken. At least would save $20.

Good service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food!Monday night dinner around 8, moderately busy, but didn’t have to wait too longChicken pesto penne pasta and chicken primavera pizza we’re both lovely, together cost about $50, and servings were plenty between 2 adults

It has a pub/RSL kind of feel. Packed to the rafters with large groups and birthdays so I would recommend booking ahead if you are a group. A really good menu, with so many mouth watering dishes. It was hard to make a choice. Ended up ordering the duck confit and was not disappointed. The duck fell of the bone and was very flavoursome. Food did take a while come out, we were a large group and but all dishes came out together which was good.
