Song Fang Khong used to be my favourite Lao & Thai dining place in Western Sydney area. The restaurant is small but very homely. Often come here with a big group of friends so we can try out almost everything: chicken feet salad, papaya salad, Lao sausage, ox tongue, fish cake, and fermented meat fried rice. Combine them with fresh cabbage, herbs, and sticky rice.. yummy! Thinking of them makes me hungry! The tom yum soup and curry were okay, not really special. A few weeks ago I travelled all the way to Fairfield to introduce this restaurant to my friends. The staff is still as lovely as ever but I feel like the food has lost its vibes. Prices went up on an average of $3 for most of the items on themenu.
