Popped in for a quick take away based on someone elses review saying the rice was good. I ordered fried rice & chicken & cashew nut. Gotta say the food is brilliant & dirt cheap. If you are after a great Chinese take away this has to be your go to. I am very fussy & if I say the food is good then its good. The only down side is the shop front of the restaurant is dingy & dirty for Australian standards. This did put me off a bit so I stuck my head into the kitchen for a peek & it was quite acceptable & hygienic. So if your after a great cheap feed I suggest you go here but if youre after somewhere lovely with nice surroundings to sit down & eat then I suggest you go elsewhere for you would be sadly disappointed.
I like the fried rice and the satay prawns. This place has been here for a long time. Probably not the healthy choice but still tasty for a once in a while treat.
So so cheap. You can come here for lunch, from $5-$6 depending if you want noodles/rice or fried rice. I only had the lunch special and its a big take away box and they ask you if you want cutlery with that, you wont beleive how many places dont!! Ambience wise its dark and old, something from 1970’s decor. The food didnt take long to come out and prices, when i look at the menu for dinner, is quite cheap compared to other places. These old chinese places seem to be dying out for newer, more modern places but these places should not be forgotten, they still make good food here
