I have eaten cooked seafood all over Australia and overseas. This has to be one the best seafood places I have been to. Great service and the seafood is always the best. Great prices. I recommend that you try their grilled snapper, it is absolutely the nicest grilled fish I have ever eaten. 5/5 rating from me.
My go to when I’m too lazy to cook. The grilled fish pack is huge. You could go very close to feeding two people for under $20 but I’m a fat lump so I usually eat a whole one to myself. The fried fish is also battered and fried fresh to order which pretty much nowhere does anymore and it shows because it’s delicious, light, crunchy and doesn’t have that soggy oiliness you usually get with fish n chip shops.
I always enjoy the food at Great North Seafood, whether it’s just battered fish and chips, a special of grilled barrumundi with salad, calamari or the burgers. Everything is served fresh and the place is clean. Note that they accept cash only but there are plenty of ATMs in close vicinity.
Wow deliciously good fish and chips here tonight.I was blown away by how light and crispy without a hint of oil or grease! Seriously not greasy at all. It was the house fish @ $6.90 per piece i cant rave enough.Great crisp fries and mouth melting calamari also the fish cocktails were good too.Im really fussy bout battered fish i rarely order anymore as its always disappointing and i get pissed off over it.I would definitely go back here as the salads look good too.They also sell fresh fish and prawns oysters etc which looked fresh too.A definite go to from now on.Only complaint is could have more meal deals.
