I love Raineri’s. $5 panini on my way to work in the morning: provolone, mortadella and grilled eggplant. Toast it up at work and I’m good. The service is always friendly and the selection of other supplies is defies the small shopfront.
Great old school Italian deli with vast selection of cured meats, cheeses, pasta, antipasto, biscuits, oils and condiments. There are a handful of items you may find cheaper at the supermarket but the cured meats and cheeses are generally way cheaper and the quality far far superior. The truffle pecorino is fantastic! napolirestaurantalert.wordpress.com
Been going here for years and always have a great experience. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful letting you sample things before you buy. There is a huge selection of everything you could want in a deli. Fresh baked bread, and selection of Italian supermarket goods down the back. Highly recommend this place, we love it.
Favourite neighbourhood old school Italian delicatessen selling a variety of plump olives, marinated vegetables, cured meats, cheeses, Italian breads and more. The best part is that you can order a freshly made roll; my combo of choice is prosciutto, semi dried tomato and bocconcini. Note, to order you simply queue up at the deli counter. There isn’t any formal queuing system and the nonnas won’t think twice about pushing in so stay sharp to get the attention of one of the staff. They do get very busy here!
