if you are looking for a friendly environment and you are looking for excellent customer and table service, this is a perfect place. The coffee is amazingly refreshing with the friendly attitude of all staff. The cafe also takes care of the customization you need in your food. Visit any time of the day, the energy level and the environment of the cafe remains the same. I would recommend Rocco’s cafe if you are in Five Dock. Or just wave Hi while you are passing by and you will get lots of smiles and greet without any expectations.Go with your loved ones for long chats and to spend your day well.

The only good thing left about this cafe is the coffee. The 2 stars is for the barista who in all fairness deserves 5 for his coffee. When I’m in the area, I’m sure to get my coffee from here. With all this new staff, there’s no good service. Food has turned just as bad. Was once a regular customer but go elsewhere now which says a lot for Five Dock.

Sourdough was tough. Friend’s was even burnt on one side. Poached eggs was cooked perfectly. Good amount of Hollandaise sauce and smoked salmon. $15. Service was good and location was bad. Would i go again? Nah

Good value breakfast at this busy cafe on the main road of Five Dock. We had the bacon and egg roll and vegetarian breakfast, which were both brought out quickly after ordering. When ordering cheese for the roll, be sure to specify what type or else you may end up with grilled haloumi instead of a slice of Swiss or the like!

Ordered a couple plates of their pasta at the Five Dock street festival. Now my wife’s and my family background is Italian, we eat home cooked pasta every week. One plate was without doubt the most over cooked pasta I have ever paid money for. You stab a piece of penne and it would break into fragments under your fork, for Italians a cardinal culinary sin. And the sauce was just bland. Hard to excuse frankly, even given the pressures of the large crowds at the festival. And hard to explain, given the location as one of Sydney’s major Italian suburbs. One of two times in my life where I actually complained to the staff about the food quality.

I love Rocco’s. I’ve only recently moved to the area and I’ve been here for breakfast a few times now. The Eggs Benedict with ham is my go-to breakfast but from what I’ve seen at the tables around me the menu is a winner all round. I’m giving 4.5/5 and not a full 5 because twice now they’ve forgotten my tea order. I’ll keep coming back for the fab food, though!

My favourite, favourite, favourite cafe to go to!Despite the previous review on here, this is a wonderful cafe to dine at. The food is fresh! I know this for a fact, especially after having spoken to one of the owners who handles that side of the business. Everything tastes absolutely delicious and have never ever had an issue in terms of food or service. Great coffees as well, consistently which is hard to find as a coffee lover. Their cakes are to die for, made by their wonderful chef. I would recommend Rocco’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is fantastic, staff are friendly and attentive. Do not have a bad word to say about this cafe.
