I have been going to this bakery for over 30 years and I gotta say the pie filling are getting less and less. Great Pastry but please can you go back to the old square pies with lots of meat? Coffee is amazing and the staff are up themselves.
A good place for a coffee in the morning. My grandfather often buys pies and cakes from here, and they are pretty good. Bread is fresh and is quite good value!
Old cakes! Not made on premises and rude. I have been going there for a couple of years to get coffee. I find that the boss.. Sue I think is her name the one on the coffee machine is rude to her staff in the shop! I have seen her get angry at staff for not enough pies and such when it looks completely full! The blonde lady that makes coffee with the tattoo on the back of her neck is also very rude! She didn’t have any respect for the other lady she was working with. In addition the cake I bought a carrot cake was stale and dry! I’ve also noticed that only a selected few products are made at the bakery! For example the caramel slice, mini cheesecakes to name a few are pre packaged and just defrosted!
Had to post regarding the amazing rudeness of one assistant. When queried cost of candles, this person was amazed I would quibble over small amt and ridiculed me for doing so in front if patrons!! Hot choc is good, coffee – give it a miss but most of all, skip the poor attitude in thus place.
